Imagine a future where our homes aren’t just places to live, but smart places that work with us to protect the Earth. Inspired by the urgent need for sustainable solutions, I started working on TechTopia, a house that uses artificial intelligence and advanced computer systems to transform how we live with our environment. I designed the house using Solidworks CAD software and then laser-cut it from steel. The house is cleverly controlled by a CyberPi that works seamlessly with my computer and an Arduino, which powers the environmentally friendly lighting system. The house features four rooms, each equipped with a science sensor that constantly monitors for potential hazards such as fire and flammable gases. To gain entry, simply press a button, and the CyberPi will tell my computer to engage facial recognition, a process facilitated by the mBlock code editor. If the facial recognition algorithm authenticates your identity, the CyberPi will activate a servo that opens the front door. Upon entering, each science sensor will be on the watch for any motion and illuminate the corresponding room. To minimize energy consumption, the lights will automatically turn off if no movement is detected within 10 seconds. The CyberPi operates on the sustainable power of pure solar energy stored in a LiFE battery, which is expertly managed by a Victron MPPT Charge Controller. When you’re outside, the science sensors will monitor the house for any signs of unwelcome activity and promptly alert you via the CyberPi’s speaker and screen. Each room’s temperature and humidity are displayed on the CyberPi’s screen, providing you with real-time environmental data. TechTopia proves that homes can be both comfortable and eco-friendly. I envision a future where homes like it become the norm, leading to a more sustainable world.

操作说明:

1. To gain entry: press button A on the CyberPi, follow the on-screen instructions to verify your identity. If the facial recognition model recognizes you, the front door will open automatically. 2. To exit, simply press A again and the door will open to let you out. The house automatically keeps track of whether you are inside or outside. 3. Science sensors will activate lights automatically with their motion sensors. Lights will go off after 10 seconds of no motion. 4. If you are outside and the motion sensors detect activity, the CyberPi will alert you via an onscreen warning and a loud alarm. To deactivate, follow step 1. 5. CyberPi is always monitoring for any potential hazards such as fire or flammable gas. If any is detected it will show up as an alert on the CyberPi's screen and play a loud alarm. To deactivate, press and hold button B until all alarms stop. To enable hazard checking again, press B. 6. CyberPi is constantly displaying temperature and humidity of the four rooms. 7. The house is powered by solar which is managed by a Victron MPPT Charge Controller. 8. Videos are separated into 7 parts because of the file size limit. They are already arranged in order.
