For the first mode which is an automatic lamp, switch the joystick to the lamp mode by pushing it on the x-axis to the right. Now go in front of the sensors and the lights will turn on. If you leave, after a few seconds the lights will turn off. If you go back, they should turn back on. For the second mode, first, make sure the lights have turned off. When you switch to the other mode, do not trigger the sensors and turn on the lights from the first mode. Try to hide from the sensors and push the joystick to the left on the x-axis. It should be in the second mode and now you can test the alarm.
