This anthem was adopted upon it's independence. It was replaced in 1978. However, it was restored in 2024 due to the law on the 29th of that month. Which so, it continues the old one. Because of anthem restoration, Nigeria was the shortest anthem in the world by duration (one verse). Almost 25 seconds in total.
